LogWorks App Reviews

No bluetooth

Without Bluetooth elm327 support, all iPhone solutions are too expensive ($100 to $300 instead of <$50). My eBay bluetooth obd wireless cost $25. Fix Bluetooth for obd Apple and developer and prove you rule. Windows instead of iPhone is unacceptable to me as an iPhone fan.

Love the OT2 & Logworks!

Bought the OT2 today and downloaded this app! Ive fallen in love with this app and program!! Only thing Id like updated is to allow for more gauges! Almost like the Rev apps other then that this thing is amazing in everyday, and Im just waiting for my buddy to test out the daisy chaining of innovatives gauges to the OT2. :D

Log works just shy of the mark

Over all great idea! The execution is very decent. I have to wonder if the designers actually tested this before they put it on the market. I am using it in a unique setting I am sure, I have an 87 Vw Syncro (4x4) westfalia (camper van) . But I have installed a EJ25 Subaru engine from a 2000 legacy. One thing this app lacks is the ability to adjust for different wheel size. I am sure I am not the only tuner who uses a wheel that is different from the factory size. I would really like to know what my mileage is ( one of the reasons I wanted such a device) Also the Gauges lack. I would like 2 bigger and 3 smaller or at least the option. Also I think an iPad version of the app would be awesome as I use an iPad in my vehicles as my radio, gps and just about anything else you could imagine. The last and maybe most important issue my be the weird connectivity issues. It has problems connecting and randomly disconnects sometimes. Keep up the good work guys I Would love to keep this but if there are no revisions to the app I may return it

Needs an update

At first it worked great connecting to my OT-2 interface. But then it started displaying the rpm wrong. 8000+ rpm was my idle and it lowered as the engine speed sped up. Also will mot display any info from the Lc2, even though it is connected and recognized. No customer support from Innovate either.

Works well

The only problem i am facing with the fuel tab to check fuel economy. When I click the tab the app shut down.

No connection

My obdll interface works with other apps. Log works keeps telling me that Im not connected. Yet my iPhone says I am.

Awesome App!

Hopefully this helps those with an OT-2 that stopped connecting in LogWorks. Mine stopped working after the iOS 9 updated. Please upgrade your firmware to the latest version, 1.05, it makes an enormous difference. Unfortunately you will need a Windows system. Just follow the instructions on the Innovatemotorsports website. LogWorks and the OT-2 are an amazing combination.

Not connecting

Since I got the iPhone 6s, it has not connected, and I have deleted the app and tried from scratch. But, still no luck. I just keep getting the message that error no ot-2 connected. Ive checked wifi connection and all but no luck. This needs to be fixed.

Cant Connect

Same problem as other poster, wifi shows its connected to OT-2 but app says otherwise!

Stock only

Ive use this app on all sorts of vehicle ( modified and stock) only accurate when hooked up to completely stock vehicles

No AFR

Does not log AFR with OT2. Dev is aware of the problem but still no fix. Innovate is nortorious for poor customer service. Waste of money to buy an OT-2.

Like the app so far!

This app is pretty much the best dyno-like app Ive used. Cant wait to use the OT-2 with it! The only down side to this app, is it shows me where my driving needs improvement (terrible 60 time/ET, but good trap speeds)

Great idea but

Great idea but I wish I could use this with my haltech stand alone computer. Im currently using an innovate wideband and can datalog with a laptop but would be crazy to use with my iPhone.

Issues

This works great for what it was intended for. If you want AFR then get a wideband. This is just logging from your stock narrow band sensor. To the guy below with the SRT4. Are you using a map clamp/ piggy back fuel computer? If you are then your map readings WILL be off.

Doesnt work w/o o-2

This sounds good in theory, but doesnt appear to work as a stand alone app. Addtl hardware required ( o-2). It recorded my 0-60 time once out of three runs, and it said 8.5 secs. I drive an e55 amg with 0-60 times around 4.5 secs, I can do 0-60 in 4.7 just in 2nd gear. Maybe this would work better w/ the o-2?

Great for being A Free App

This is a nice app. Import Tuner tested the app and the whp error of margin was 6.9%(10whp). So its great for its price which is free. I like my results. Not off by much.

Needs improvement

Great app, love the features along with the ot-2, but a few problems I have found so far. Connectivity is lacking, if I try to datalog a run and the wifi drops out (which it does a lot) then it stops logging and I have to do another run. Also, the other problem I found is the map reading is incorrect on my car (dodge srt4) its way off. I dont know if theres some way to calibrate it, but its extremely wrong. Edit: soulblighter, I am not using any type of map clamp. I am on the stock ecu and pretty much stock everything except for minor bolt ons. I dont know why the map reading is so off.......makes no sense at all.

Not impressed

This tool is very complicated and it does not do everything it say it does

Go link support?

This is a great looking app and I wish I could rate it but it doesnt seem to work with the Go Link cable. At least it was free!

OT-2

Innovate has come out with very cool and usefull tools and this is another one. That being said they do have a few glitches once in a while. Pros. Being able to datalog Air/Fuel ratios using the LC-1 with RPM and MAF levels is very handy for tunning. And now with the SSI-4 online I can bring in engine oil temps and injector duty cycle Cons. Refresh rate of OBDII info is rather slow on the ISO9141 protocol. Conectivity is an issue with more then 3 OBDII channels. And I would like to have more gauge options.
